Overview
Wood & Water is an approximately 260-unit multi-family project at 15235 Sitka Drive in Surrey, BC. Jas Construction Ltd. carried the framing scope for Anthem Properties from January 2021 to June 2022.
Anthem Properties appears across multiple projects in the Jas Construction portfolio, including South Yards Tower A in Burnaby (currently ongoing), South Yards, Anthem Nuvo at Central Park, Maplewood West Townhomes, and Portside. Wood & Water was framed floor by floor, with engineered floor and roof assemblies built in sequence alongside the mechanical rough-ins. Material staging and lift scheduling were coordinated across the site to keep the framing pace steady through the full 17-month duration. The framing scope is complete.
Scope of work
- Engineered floor and roof assemblies, sequenced with the mechanical rough-ins.
- Pre-construction coordination with the developer and design team.
- On-site supervision and daily quality checks by an in-house superintendent.
- Coordination of openings and backing for the envelope, mechanical and electrical trades.
- Material staging and lift scheduling planned around the site.
