Overview

Set at 72nd Avenue & 144 Street in Surrey, BC, Amson Square is an 80-unit multi-family development. Jas Construction Ltd. worked alongside Amson Centre 72nd Ltd. to carry the framing in 2020.

Framing ran from the ground floor through to roof and lock-up, with openings and backing set accurately so the envelope, mechanical and electrical trades could pick up without rework. A single point of contact kept the developer informed through each stage of the build. The framing scope is complete.

Scope of work

  • Engineered floor and roof assemblies, sequenced with the mechanical rough-ins.
  • Pre-construction coordination with the developer and design team.
  • On-site supervision and daily quality checks by an in-house superintendent.
  • Coordination of openings and backing for the envelope, mechanical and electrical trades.
  • Material staging and lift scheduling planned around the site.
