Overview
Set at 1960 Macdonald Street in Vancouver, BC, 4th & Macdonald is a 99-unit multi-family development. Jas Construction Ltd. worked alongside Axiom Builders Inc. to carry the framing in 2025.
Framing ran from the ground floor through to roof and lock-up, with openings and backing set accurately so the envelope, mechanical and electrical trades could pick up without rework. A single point of contact kept the developer informed through each stage of the build. The framing scope is complete.
Scope of work
- Engineered floor and roof assemblies, sequenced with the mechanical rough-ins.
- Pre-construction coordination with the developer and design team.
- On-site supervision and daily quality checks by an in-house superintendent.
- Coordination of openings and backing for the envelope, mechanical and electrical trades.
- Material staging and lift scheduling planned around the site.
